Yes, it was Android Version 13. I think, there should be no limitation for the passwords of an (external) WLAN. This is definitely the job of the admin of the WLAN. If he/she likes it to be open to anyone ... It maybe however make sense to show a warning because the network is not secure at all. Anyhow, this is the first network (that open) I know of and it may stay the only one. I have also told the people in that hotel that that this may also lead to problems for them. I will be there maybe fall next year so we will see if they changed it.
