To support USB 3 downloads would an i5 machine with a standard hard drive suffice? Would like to avoid having to spend for a big SSD.
SSD is more important than CPU if you want to do lunar or solar work :)
standard hard driver is enough for planetary imaging
A standard hhd will give you 70 mbps where as a ssd will give you full 300 + thru a 3.0
