I just tried the update from the ASIAIR app and that works without a problem. Mount updates swiftly to 1.6.3. The weird thing is though that the update through the mount its own webpage still failed. I tried that just before trying it before using the ASIAIR app and it still said that the servers were unavailable. Anyhow, the update went through successfully in the app itself
