C-Mount lens

Hello Sam,

Sometimes it's good to use ASI174MM with c-mount lens. Could you please recommend reasonably priced c-mount lens with focal length around 8 - 10 - 20mm? Are there such suppliers at AliExpress?

Do you have an adapter for c-mount lenses and ASI174MM?

Just pick on that is designed for 1/1.2" or bigger sensors. Most c-mount lenses will be expensive so look on ebay for used ones. There are also M42 lenses, but those have bit longer focal lengths.

you can use the CS lens with our "M42-CS adapter" which come with the ASI120

its very hard to find short forcal length C lens such as 6mm and suitable for 1" sensor

but 8mm and above should be easy to find some second hand lens which suitable for 2/3" or above

I've got a 16mm for 2/3" Atik 314L+ and it can focus. At around 35mm of focal length M42 lenses start and those do not have problems with sensor size.
