Dear All.
Can I use a VONETS VAP11S-5G Industrial Mini 5GHz WiFi to Ethernet Bridge/Router Hotspot to boost my wi-fi signal and utilise it in 5G, or an I restricted to 2.4G. If this is not the recommended bridge, please could you let me know what works best?

I own a VONETS VBG1200 Industrial 2.4G + 5G WiFi bridge on my ASIAIR plus. Put the Ethernet cable to the ASIAIR port and use an ASIAIR DC 12V port as power source for the VONETS.

The VONETS act as access point for all other devices, like the AM5 mount or the tablet. Note, that the AM5 using only 2.4G, but other devices can use 5G. It's no problem to mix both WiFi standards. This boost the WiFi signal for more than 50 meters.

I'm very satisfied with this device.

Thanks Dani, I've read we can use both but I didn't want to get a 5G and find it's useless.

Dani, do you have to configure the asiair in station mode? Can you explain the configuration?. Thanks

Actually.....If anyone can post an idiots guide to connecting a Vonets VBG1200 I'd be tremendously grateful, I'm 90% there but I must have one or more setting Arm about Face and it's not connecting correctly. I have access but the range is minimally improved and it still drops out of connection.
