Lunar mosaic 27/04/2015

We've got rather stable seeing on 27th April.

Equipment: Santel 360K, ASI 174MM, Baader 685nm IR-pass.

We decided to publish this image in a flash version, you can zoom up to 150% of the original scale.

Mosaic of 41 images. Almost 2 hours of filming, 2 days of stacking, 2 weeks of final processing .

Very impressive and amazing consistency over the entire surface of the moon.

That's amazing Mikhail.

And I can't honestly imagine the amount of hard work.

Now I have to buy a ten-feet high desktop screen to fully appreciate it ;)
