I want to use my ASI174MM as a guide camera with my SW ST80. Is anyone else doing this? Will I need an extension tube to get focus?
I haven't used a 174 but I did use my 120MM on a St80 for guiding (before I got an OAG). I needed an extension, I used a 60mm T2 extension tube. Without the extension you will not be able to focus the camera.
