I am new to guiding, and am having difficulty in getting my new ASI120MC to work properly. The only thing I can see in PHD2 is a light gray screen with a lot of noise on it. I've downloaded and installed the latest software from the ZWO website after removing the driver that was on the disc in the original container. My setup info:
ZWO ASI120MC
ZWO ASI Webcam Driver
ASI ST4 Telescope Driver
iOptron ZEQ25 mount
Camera exposure is set at 2.5 secs.
I focused the Orion 50mm guidescope on a distant hillside in daylight using a 12.5 mm Plossl, but when I inserted the camera into the guidescope, connected with PHD2 and started looping.... nothing but fly specs.
I'd sure appreciate any help or suggestions.
