Gaming laptop with ASI120MC-S

Hi all, I wonder if anybody would be so kind to help me? I've just taken delivery of my new ASI120MCS-S USB 3.0 camera; and I wanted to know, could anybody give me the make and model of a laptop that this camera definitely works on and achieves full frame rates on, at the various resolutions that it offers, as it seems to be a bit of a lottery as to which USB 3.0 host controllers will work. I was looking at getting a gaming Laptop as they seem to be the most appropriate for running the highest frame rates. Does anyone have any experience with an MSI, ASUS, GIGABYTE for example?

My HP Envy i5 laptop works fine. It has two USB 3.0 as well as two USB 2.0 ports. I am able to run at full speed with my ASI120MC-S at maximum resolution. It uses regular hard disk drive, no SSD. My laptop is not a gaming laptop, costs about $650 from Best Buy and I don't think you need a gaming laptop.

You could try to bring the camera to the computer store, install FireCapture and run tests in the store before buying the laptop.
