Looks like I am not alone in the dark with those issues - and that many eventually found a way to make that stuff work seaminglessly ;-)
I just wanted to have some confirmation from others and/or Sam.
1 - USB2.0 or 3.0
Shall the ASI224MC be working correctly in USB2.0 anyway ?
I mean : all issues (drivers versions, etc.) are only when connected on USB3.0 ports ?
Or could it affect both USB2.0 and 3.0 ports on the machine ?
2. Amcap "step"
If the camera is properly recognized in windows device manager, does it mean that the issue is somewhere else ?
Or do such case (=camera correctly seen/installed in device manager, but AMCap not working) is typically a driver-caused issue ?
The fact that temperature is seen in AMCap is a tip ?
I tried on an older PC (usb2.0 only) - exactly the same behavior.
Or maybe the camera is not working properly ? (which I doubt, but who knows ?).
Need your lights ;-)
