I see that the Seestar uses 2 3Ah Sichuan Changhong New Energy Ltd LiNiMnCoO2 battery cells in parallel. Looking at the battery it is not possible to tell whether there is a protection circuit, most often called a BMS, attached to the cell pair. Checking the CH web site I cannot find any battery that looks anything like the one in the Seestar. The function of the BMS is to prevent over charging, over discharging, over voltage and short circuits with a lithium battery. A BMS is essential for the safe operation of a lithium ion battery. Is there such a protective circuit either attached to the cells of the battery pack itself or inside the body of the Seestar which shuts down the charging process when the battery reaches its full charge of 100%?
