Stops at: 0.1°, won’t find & photo target

After successfully making a few images, the SeeStar failed to move past 0.1° or take any photos. Forcing it resulted in ‘Stack failed; no stars found’ error message.
Skies were clear, SeeStar was compass & level calibrated. No changes between operating properly and stopping at the 0.1° level

If your Seestar is stuck at 0.1 degrees during the goto process, it’s because Seestar is attempting to identify its current target. This requires a sufficient number of visible stars in the field of view. Two main factors may affect this:

Ensure Seestar is pointed at an open, clear sky area with no clouds or obstructions.
Cancel the goto, and check the preview to confirm the stars are in focus.

I have had good success in the past with cancelling the last stages of a GoTo move, when the red and blue rectangles are already well aligned, then manually switching to stargazing mode and starting a capture. I have seen the SeeStar app attempting the Identifying... step many times and failing, when it is obvious that the S50 is already pointing at the desired target and being centered. This user initiated switch between the never ending GoTo and manually started Enhancing has never failed for me.
