I have an ASI178MC where the previous user stated that they performed a firmware update that stopped it from working properly. When connected to two different computers it shows up in the Windows Device Manager and Sharpcap as the wrong model - ASI120MC-S. It is recognised but doesn't work correctly. Strange!
I'm thinking they may have added the wrong firmware to the camera somehow. I downloaded the Firmware Update software, but it shows the camera as an ASI120MC-S. So is there another option here? A firmware image file for the ASI178MC that will make the camera work properly? Thanks.
