Hi all. This may be a very noob question but here goes nothing. I've got a brand new ASI120MC. I got all the programs and drivers installed w/ no problem on a Toshiba Satellite laptop w/ newly installed Windows 7. I was wondering what kind of image are people getting when they first turn on their cam. In AmCap, FireCapture, and SharpCap, the camera at least is recognized and displays a color image but the image is very blurry and no details can be made of anything you point the camera at. The camera can tell the difference between light and dark areas but still no image. It's almost if it's not focused. I also played with the gain and gamma settings but that didn't help either. From my very limited understanding, it should look just like any regular webcam image but that is far from what I am getting. I also tried the same thing on a newer computer w/ Windows 8 and I get the same results. Any ideas or suggestions?
