problem with new seestar update

After downloading the latest update yesterday, I do not get a live updating image while shooting as I always did, now it is only a blank gray screen. I saw in another post to try shutting off the "Continuous shooting" feature, but when I look for it in the Stargazing menu it is not there. There is no designation for a continuous shooting feature anywhere in the app. I uninstalled the app 3 times and reinstalled it, but the problem persists. This problem is on my tablet, on my phone I get the continuous updating image while shooting as I always did, but there is still no feature for continuous shooting on the phone either. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

It's nothing to do with the Continuous shooting. You can switch on/off "Live view" in the advanced settings. It's in the tutorial too.

I'm afraid it's nothing to do with the Live view being on or off.
From the two people reporting issues here (and from my own experience) it seems to be a problem that affects tablets. So needs to be reported as a fault.

I also have the same problem. With version V2.2.0 my tablet does not work and my phone does.

One person mentioned they saw a new 6gb RAM requirement for V2.2.0. vs 2gb for the older software. I can't confirm this and do not know if it is true. However, my tablet is an older Samsung Galaxy with 3gb RAM and my phone is a Samsung S20+ with 12gb RAM. The tablet does not work and the phone still does.

If ZWO "broke" the app on my tablet, I would like a way to downgrade back to V2.1.0. I have no desire to buy a new tablet because of a Seestar software update.

ZWO states that the 4GB RAM requirement only applies to Android devices as well as Android 8 and higher. iOS 13 is currently required but there are no RAM limitations for iOS devices. So if your Samsung tablet is Android, it must have greater than 4GB RAM for this version.
