Blue screen PC crash

We have recently acquired a 120MC camera and have just managed a few basic tests so far. One recurring problem is that after a couple of exposures have been attempted, the PC crashes, showing a blue screen. Can't see anything in the forums about this. Any advice? We're using an HP laptop, core i5, 32 bit, Win 7, 4GB RAM.

do you have another PC to give a try?

usually some strange problem is PC related

Thanks Sam. At the time of last checking, it was the latest driver. Different PC is the next step.

I have installed SharpCap and run some tests with that instead of AmCap. No crashes after 7 test exposures, so maybe that's the answer. Certainly much better to use than AmCap, which we already had installed for another camera.

amcap is just a simple program to test the camera

so Sharpcap or firecapture is recommended
