As the post states, I think it is an old known problem as evidenced by all the posts. My EAF will go about 2 cm travel then stop, beep and not go further. I took the scope down which is an Evostar 120 with a brand new GSO focuser attached and it did this. My Askar V has my old EAF and it is flawless. I read about the firmware update and installed it on my Mac OS Sequoia 15.1.1 on Apple M3Pro. It could not find the asiair on my network and could not install the hex file. Please help as it is very frustrating to have a focuser that is barely 3 weeks old and it doesn't work. Hate to send it back and "hope" for one that works like my original. Please advise.
