I am having this same issue with the ASI120MC. I am running windows 10. I installed ASCOM Platform 6 - SP1, ASI120MC Camera 2.4.3.20, ASI120MC - S Camera 1.2.3.5, and ASI Camera ASCOM Driver 1.0.1.4.
I am also running sharpcapture 2.5.
I had all of this working fine on a windows 7 laptop but that died and I upgraded. But now I keep getting the same error code "Error during preview 0x80040209" in sharpcap and "error 80040209" if I try to open the camera programs on their own.
The camera does show as a "connected device" and doesnt make mention of a driver error. It originally did that but after some uninstalls and reinstalls it no longer says that.
I have 2 USB 2.0 drives and a 3.0 drive and this message happens with the camera plugged into either-level drive.
Can anyone help?
