First use after upgrade

Last night was the first time I have used the Seestar after the new upgrade. After reading all the posts re problems and issues, I must say it worked perfectly.

It connected straight away ( I use iPhone), I initialised, levelled and calibrated compass. First object was galaxy in Sculptor. It moved to the target, centred perfectly, auto focused and started shooting. Very few frame drop outs and after 29 minutes had a great image. Moved to horsehead the Pleiades. Had no issues.

I tried the denoising and it worked great. Maybe I am lucky

H not lucky but people that dont have issues dont post as much. So its normal to see more issues than other user experiences. i dont often have issues with the app or the S50. But there has been some issues when upgrading that i relate to my phone and not how zwo have updated the app. i.e my most recent bug report was that i could not add images to the bug report function. Worked before but the solution was that after a phone upgrade and also the app the permissions for the app to access photos etc had changed. So allowing the app access to the gallery and everything was ok. Also some issue a few versions ago then i had to completely uninstall the app. So i guess its a combination of how good the users are to try to solve an issue and how its reported back to zwo. I have developed a few android/ios apps and its "complicated" to test all and every version of tablets/phones. And its also quite easy for a developer to forget to force the app to i.e empty cache. And many expects everything to just work. as it should but phones/tablets today are in many variants and even if development software today catch most of these things beta testers are the best debuggers as long as they test everything on a real device in a way a regular user does. developers often says "its working fine here" until its installed on a regular phone/app. anyhow i cannot say that the issues i had is a big thing. annoying when it happens yes. was it solved relatively quick? yes. When there is a new update i jump into it as the app gets better and better. And yes it could always be better. But developers need feedback and good error reports. And we cannot expect to get all the functions we request. But i guess zwo have to juggle between refining whats already made and also think on whats next on the todo list.
