I don't think that's the case, it's more a capability issue with the areas you've suggested, all sky PA has always been buggy in the years which have passed since it was introduced as a trial feature hence I have never used it for a proper session. Think about that, years have passed and such issues haven't been fixed. Whenever a new update is introduced it seems to break something else as if users are meant to be the software testers.
It's not like they have to write the drivers for other equipment, the whole system runs off an open source structure customised into their own UI, this is how the product came about to start off with.
