Question for ZWO team: I recently purchased a new 2600MM and noticed that there is a new design element around the CMOS sensor chip. It appears to be a solid wall that sits on the sensor ceramic carrier and extends to the top plate of the camera. See photo. What is the purpose of this new design element? thanks!

Can this be retrofitted to existing 2600mm cameras?
I don't see how that will stop reflections from bright stars. It will only reflect light off the material. Its not very flat black. You need light baffles.
Has ZWO done detailed testing on the new design?
