I ordered an ASIAIR Plus last week and it arrived dead. It will not beep and there's no WiFi. I tried two different 12 volt supplies of which one is from ZWO. Both supplies function on my AM5N mount. I tried the following from another ZWO forum post.
1) soft shutdown the ASIAIR if it is on if possible
2) turn power off on ASIAIR device (power switch)
3) while depressing and holding down the black reset button, turn the ASIAIR device on. Keep the reset button depressed for over 5 seconds.
4) release the Reset button, and power ASIAIR off.
5) power ASIAIR device back on, and connect to ASIAIR app.
I submitted a RMA problem report to ZWO 12/17 and haven't received a reply. How long does it take for ZWO to reply? I have seen other posts about ASIAIR's not beeping and locking up on the ZWO forum and Cloudy Nights. Is this a common problem with the Plus version? It feels like there are QC, manufacturing or design problems with this product.
I am getting ready to ask for a refund.
