ASI Fit Viewer on Mac

Hi,

I'm using this app from ASI Studio to browse my images and delete some on my external SSD on Mac.
Issue is whenever I want to remove an image it asks for a password.

I've tried giving full disk permission to ASI Studio but it didn't help, perhaps because it's external drive?
I think the app should make request write permission to external drives on launch?

Also when going to /Applications/ and clicking right button on ASI Studio and "show package content", I can find ASIFitsView.app in there, I can move it to dock and launch it from there which is much faster.

But I don't know how to fix the permissions.

whereisclouds Does this problem appear only on external SSDs? if you directly delete the file on mac file manager, is the password needed?

Tech@ZWO Happens on internal SSD too.

whereisclouds More like caused by some permission issues. check the folders permission of the file located whehter is read only, and the trash permisison.
