The cooler of my 585mc pro has given me troubles lately after the camera dropped on the ground because a tightening screw loosened over time. Ever since then the cooler seems to be on all the time. As soon as i power the camera i can hear the cooler humming and if i connect the camera to N.I.N.A i can see the sensor temperature dropping even if i don't activate cooling and the reported cooler power stays on 0%. It seems that the camera is still able to regulate the cooler because if I enable cooling it reaches and holds the target temperature just fine but it seems it's unable to completely turn of the cooler element. I have disassembled the camera as far as i can without removing any of the tamper proofed screws and i can see no damage on the main pcb so i am guessing there is some damage somewhere else. Has anyone had a similar issue or knows how to fix this? I don't know how exactly the cooler is regulated but my guess would be that there is a broken transistor somewhere.
