I have reported this issue as a bug on the reported issues tab in the Asi air app and i tried the things the support person asked me to do which was helpful in me discovering what the pattern of the bug was. 90% of the time the autocentering wouldn't work and potentially would just make the telescope go straight to the ground, as of a result the meridian flip often isn't reliable, but this time it worked and the support person assumed the issue was solved (it was suspected to be focal length related). From there it was closed with while the issue still remained. The report ticket id number is: BT20241221155605A.
