I’m based in Australia, and am attempting to polar aligning using the ASPA feature. The process initially works and displays an initial alignment error, but this error increases almost linearly every time I press refresh to update it. This happens even without touching the mount or tripod at all. I have attached a screen recording showcasing this (link: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/f7s75y4wx3qotl6vt2rt0/Video-Jan-08-2025-19-44-01.mov?rlkey=n55g6ao6styr2k7c4uvl7djxv&st=avgvluk7&dl=0)
My mount is a Star Adventurer GTI, and I’m in the southern hemisphere. I have attempted to aim towards the north or south of the sky (avoiding due east or west), and I have also ensured that the telescope doesn’t pass the meridian throughout the process. I’m hoping ZWO can chime in and fix this bug for us!
