Asi 2600MC Air hangs on download

This problem continues to happen. I have the new Asi 2600mc Air and it periodically hangs when trying to download to memory. This is not a cable issue .
Also the wifi connection is unstable and disconnects often and station mode does not work. I am
using the latest firmware release. I am suppling 12V from the AM5 mount so wondering if this might be a power issue. Also the camera downloads to a USB stick on the camera so I am wondering if this could be an issue? My other 2600mc pro with my Asi air pro does not do this nor do I have any wifi issues.
I also use AM5 power port to power everything and it works fine.

The download issue happens during AUTORUN sequence.
The wifi instability is quite bothersome. The AM5 wifi is NOT used there is no wifi interference and I am only 10 feet from the camera when this happens.

DennisG Hello. Are you connected to the 2600 Air's wifi directly or via station mode? Power may be a problem. I suggest you power the mount and the 2600 Air separately to see if this solves the problem.

I am not using station mode it does not work. Only connecting wifi directly. I tired a different power supply 3A and 5A and the issue remains. I have noticed that when taking shorter exposures ie flats there are no issues the wifi speed is high and stable and no dropouts. This problem only seems to happen when using Autorun sequence for regular Imaging. The camera is taking longer pictures is 60seconds to 3mins or longer. As I indicated the firmware is the latest version.
I take flats and dark flats indoors with a flat panel while all my imaging is outdoors but my IPad is only like 10 to 20 feet away in my house. I am trying now different dew heater which is lower power consumption. I feel there is a software bug somewhere.

I was able to get station mode working. I will do more testing.

Over the last 2 nights I have connected to the mount on its own, without using the camera power. It cleared up my problems, which have been numerous. Suggest you try the same. Also my WiFi got much stronger. This indicates an engineering problem with the power pass through from the camera to the mount. Even the 2600 Air manual says you can easily power the mount from the camera. That is clearly not the case.

Hi. Thank you for your response. I use a 7A 12V supply to power the mount. I do power the camera from the mount however. Not sure if that is what you meant to say.
Many documents indicate that the camera can be powered from the mount however exceeding 3A is not recommended therefore it might depend how many accessories are being powered off the camera. In my case I am well below 3A draw so it should work. I think there might be a possible issue with the AM5 power system in its design. My next step is to power the mount and camera separately when it is clear and not -20C as the mount does not like temperatures that low. The weather has been atrocious for over a month now cloudy or windy or too cold or all of the above.
