Hello,
I just took th S50 out for the first time tonight. After trying several different nebulas,which were out of focus and saturated, which I blamed on the moon being high and bright tonight, I decided to try the moon. Unfortunately, I only received a blurt sun-like blurred blob and a “Seestar failed to recognize target” message. Now I would just blame it on a bad night to skyview, but my wife brought her Vaonis Vespera II out and was able to get focused stacks of the same targets that I tried of nebulas and the moon. So, what am I doing wrong? Or did I just get a bad product?
