So my EAF is on 1-2 year old firmware. I noticed an issue with the external temperature probe the other night - it was reporting temperature variances of +/- 2 degrees every few seconds all night long - screwing up temperature triggered focusing and auto temperature compensation adjustments.
I tried reseating the temperature probe - all my gear is in a permanent observatory - and secondly updating the firmware to the latest version.
The firmware update of my EAF (run as an administrator command under Windows failed each time with the same error -- unable to erase firmware.
The ZWO EAF is the type with no external power supply - it is simply attached via USB2 cable to a mains powered hub.
What are the fixes for these two issues?
