I LOVE my ZWO ASI120MC-S, I have taken great solar (H-Alpha) and planetary color images.
I have also been using it for autoguiding in PHD2 in 2x2 binned mode.
However, I would like to know if there is a better camera for guiding as I have trouble finding stars bright enough to guide with. I am using a C11 on a CGEM-DX mount with a Celestron OAG. I have just purchased a used Lumicon GEG Giant Easy Guider which I hope will also help.
Some people have suggested a Lodestar X2 but I don't know how that compares to my ASI120MC.
How much improvement would I have buying a monochrome ASI120MM over my MC?
All opinions appreciated. thank you.
