Just got my seestar S50 a short while ago.

Couple of things.

I seem to be getting a lot of disconnects from my iPhone 16 pro.
I did manage to update firmware eventually.

However now s50 more or less refuses to connect to my iPhone.

Luckily I have an iPad which it does connect to.

When I goto app and account security I am unable to change the telephone country code to Spain, it shows +86.
My country location is set correctly on the previous page.

I did try to find the sun, eventually I found it but badly out of focus , it did autofocus then lost sun.

How can I resolve these problems ?

The internet disconnection may be due to Bluetooth interference with the 2.4GHz WiFi signal. If there are many WiFi signals on the same channel nearby, the interference can be significant. It is recommended to try switching to 5GHz or bridge the connection to your home router in bridge mode. Then, connect directly to your home router's WiFi to control Seestar. You can register for Seestar using either a phone number or an email address. Currently, phone number registration only supports numbers from China and does not support numbers from other countries. (The +86 is the prefix for domestic numbers in China.) It is recommended that you use email registration and then request feedback to receive the verification code.
Difficulty in locating the sun might be due to a compass error. Please recalibrate the compass. Check the deviation between the camera's direction and the actual sun; is it a deviation in the azimuth angle or the camera's pitch angle? Typically, there will only be a deviation in the azimuth angle (the compass being affected and inaccurate). The elevation angle should not have any deviation (if the time and positioning are correct, there should be no deviation).
You can click on autofocus, and if it doesn’t work, you can manually focus.
