Support@Seestar Thanks for passing on the request. We live in a world where we have a choice and many people choose not to use Facebook, X and other social media run by tech giants. This request has been made here many times over the past years and not only by me. There is an announcements topic on this forum that seems to have been included exactly for that: announcements. Let's hope that "the team" finally understands that they also should make the announcements in that topic.
wvreeven You are right, I think my team will be aware of this issue and add this requirement.
Support@Seestar Assuming you meant "zwo news".. The answer is here.. usually through someone reposting something you guys haven't bothered to post here directly. And kinda disingenuous to say this forum is for "user discussion" when every user has to wait 15-20 hours for their posts to be manually approved before anyone can see them and response. This used to be a user discussion forum where users could help each other solve problems in a timely fashion.
Support@Seestar Same for me. I mostly get news on this forum and occasionally on forums like CloudyNights and the Dutch AstroForum.
Support@Seestar The very reason we are all here is because we do not use Facebook. If you expect us to start using Facebook just to get ZWO news, it's not going to happen.
I saw the news on reddit.
I also don’t use facebook, x, etc.
