Having problems with ASI Air Plus repeatedly “dropping" my Canon R5. Air Plus asks me to confirm the Camera Setup Requirements which I do. I then go to Main Camera settings, select the R5, and hit the button on upper right corner to select the camera, and button turns green. After a few seconds, message appears: “Device Changed Camera Canon EOS R5 has been plugged in, please connect it manually”. I’m not sure what “connect it manually” actually means, but have repeatedly gone back to camera selection screen, again selected the R5 and hit the button to turn it green to select the camera. I have also tried turning off the camera and disconnecting the camera’s USB “C” cord to the Air’s USB 3 port to see if that is what is meant by "Connect Manually.” Again no luck and I get the “Device Changed” screen yet again. The camera itself is not disconnecting and remains on and ready to shoot. I have switched out the USB C to USB 3 cord and that does nothing. I have also used an identical Canon R5 borrowed from a friend, and the problem occurred with that camera as well.
I am using the Air Plus with the AM5n, both new in December 2024. Firmware version for the Air Plus is 2.3(11.56).
Thanks for your help.
