Can’t find anything after upgrade to 4.0 and 4.2

Prior to the upgrade to 4.0 the S50 was not able to find the sun or moon. It had no trouble finding other celestial objects. Now since the upgrade to 4.0 and 4.2 it is unable to find any celestial object. It does a “go to”, then shooting, and identifying over and over again with no result. I have tried going to named stars, nebula and galaxies. Nothing is found. After trying numerous times it finally says “uncentered, tried 1 times”

At this point the telescope is totally useless.

I'm guessing but worth a check. Check your default initial focus value (Seestar App->Me->Focus->Star Focus POS Default. Manually focus on a star and use that focus value as a default. It messed up my S30 and was unable to find DSOs. Updating the value as described resolved that issue.

same here, all software and firmware is updated. At least Sun finding worked twice (wow), but no other object could be found. Strange message about device being blocked and focus needs to be performed.
But you know what the worst is? No reply ... naivly I thought, Seestar is reading here, but it looks like they're spending all their money for marketing, not for customers who already bought their products.
800 bucks for nothing, leaason learned.

Sorry for the trouble.
Goto the Sun and the moon lies on the compass and level. if the goto problem only appears on this two objects instead of the deep sky objects. we recommend to check these two things. and make sure there is no metal or magnetic around the Seestar.
For the moon at night, you also can goto the deepsky objects in stargazing mode first, and then cancel the enhancement, go back to solar system mode to take the moon, which will improve the accuracy.
