You can enter RA/Dec coordinates manually and then have the S50 go to that target, it's just relatively hidden and a bit cumbersome. It's in SkyAtlas/Objects/My Favorites More/Customize. Here you can enter a name for your target and the JNow RA and Dec coordinates. Double check before adding because there is no way to modify the entry if you made a mistake, you will have to delete it and reenter.
