AM5N hand controller cable extension?

Hi All- is it possible to change the AM5N hand controller cable to a longer version, or at least go to an uncoiled cable?

Hello. The coiling cable of Mount can avoid the entanglement problem caused by overly long cables. At the same time, it can better store longer cables. Do you need to replace it with a longer cable or you just don't like the coiling design?

Thanks for your reply. I need to use the hand controller at a table a few feet from the mount, and the coiled one is much too short. A longer coiled one would be ok too. I am using a 10' uncoiled cable for now. What is the maximum distance? I tried a coiled cable that was about 1.5x longer than the standard, and it did not work.
