Dear Zwo people, I just received Seestar S30. When I turn on it , there is a vibration noise ( seems gears) which desappear when connected . Then it works regulary. Is this noise normal ?

My S30 also makes a weird vibrating noise when turning it on, but it works fine, and takes good photos after compass calibration and leveling.

That's normal. It is just the noise of all the motors getting ready and wake up from their parking.

My S30 also makes a similar 'buzzing' noise when first turned on and stops some time during the connection process.

My S50 makes a high pitched noise when starting, but it's different than the noise from the S30. It sounds like the S50 doing some sort of centering or calibration.
