Seetstar S30 Autofocus Problems Persist

Despite the recent firmware updates the problem with the auto focus persists. Once it goes out of focus you just cannot recover the seestar manually or otherwise. It will not focus on anything until the unit is reset. Just wasting hours on getting the thing to work. Will be speaking with the retailer for a return & refund.

I'm facing the same issue, I'll try the solution proposed tonight (finger crossed)...
