I am thinking of purchasing the CAA; however, my telescope (Takahashi 180 ED astrograph) has a 54mm female thread, not a male one. Will a male-to-female 54mm adapter come with the rotator, or should it be purchased separately?
Secondly, using a ASI6200MC camera, how is it possible to achieve correct back focus of 55 mm, if you use the CAA, OAG-L, and filter drawer? They have an optical thickness of 16.5 + 22.5 + 20 + 17.5mm =76.5mm ! Does this mean that my OAG-L cannot be used and guiding can only be done with a guide scope?
