I have been using my ASI174 for solar imaging for the last three days. I have left my rig set up for the entire three days. This morning i noticed "Dust Motes" in my images that weren't there yesterday. I disassembled the imaging train to discover the dust on the actual sensor. I have removed the "Motes" from my images using flats...

Can I use a proper sensor cleaning swab to clean the 174 sensor??

There should be a protective window over the sensor. That is what may attract dust. There are a number of YouTube videos showing you how to do it.
