Hello,
Sorry for bad framing of this two-image mosaic.
The turbulence was fast but reasonable.
I could increase the sampling rate because the Moon was very high; unfortunately this unveiled a lack of contrast due to rough optics.
Top right: a small, 75-meter high cliff in the crater at night. Below: a rim crest emerging from shadow, on the floor of an unnammed, possibly ruined crater at coordinates 43.6E, 32.7S. Bottom: the triple rimae on the floor of Janssen, and the prominent comb-shaped mountain range in Fabricius.
The 1000 frames per image were necessary to perform a hard processing to mitigate turbulence and resolution loss.
Nicolas.
