My setup can only see the core of Orion in FOV. So I made my very first attempt at DSO imaging by taking short exposure at the core only.
300 light frames @2 sec, 100 darks @ 2 sec both captured in avi files and stacked in Registax 6, no other processing done.
Seeing condition limited my focus, and the stars at the very core shifted constantly. Also I think the reducer introduced some aberrations.
Will try the Ring nebula next.
