The ASIAIR provides a means for capturing star spectra using multiple snap shots. However the image of the spectrum placed for capture as seen live on the tablet/phone (Using the Autorun options) is far brighter than the image actually captured.
So it appears that the viewed image in Autorun or Preview modes is very brightened/ enhanced or stacked in some way.
Is it possible to have an option similar to what is seen on a screen/viewfinder of a DSLR where if any exposure conditions are selected the camera gives you a preview showing how exposed the image would be if taken with those settings?
The other option to more conveniently use the ASIAIR for recording spectra would be to image via video mode (and with any current enhancement brightening in the viewer being able to be turned off) if long narrow ROIs could be employed that just covered the spectra. This narrow ROI video spectroscopic application might possibly work much better in the slow processor of the ASIAIR than its use for the much more demanding whole disc lunar, planetary or solar video capture
