  • Request to allow two devices as MASTER

A few months ago, this was possible when two different devices could be connected to same S50 and both devices could control it at the same time. However, with newer updates this is not possible. I would like two students to control the same S50 with two different devices simultaneously as MASTER. Could you please consider allowing at least two MASTERs?

Thank you.

Sort of defeats the purpose of having a master.

Now it is still possible to realize two masters. If you turn on the guest mode, it is one master control and 7 guests; if you turn off the guest mode, it is two masters connecting to the same device at the same time for control.

tilvi I agree, 2 masters would be great. Primary and secondary master. Only then would I see applicability of using guest mode. Currently it’s turned off on my Seestar since I use my iPhone AND iPad both consistently throughout a night session. Great suggestion and hope you get progress on this .

Support@Seestar two masters as well as guest mode is the request. At least that’s how I interpret it. Hopefully the original poster will confirm.

This is not the case, as long as the guest mode is turned off, there will be two masters using two devices to the same Seestar. Instead, with guest mode turned on, all devices connected to the same Seestar after that will be guests (up to 7, 8 in total including the master), except the first one connected to the Seestar.
And please note that this is a feature that is already available now not a requirement.

Thank you very much for all yours and your company’s efforts and accomplishments with these new smart scope. Outstanding. Cheers
