In alt-az mode can I put the scope on the east side of the mount.

I am left eye dominant and when I use alt-az mounts I like to mount the telescope on the east side (with the mount facing north). Is there a way to do that with the AM5 ?

@Block Blast Yes, you can mount the telescope on the east side of the ZWO AM5 in alt-az mode by rotating the mount head 180 degrees on the tripod, positioning the saddle on the left (east) side when facing north. After securing the mount and attaching your telescope, sync the AM5 app to the new orientation by setting the home position to north for accurate tracking and GoTo.

Thank you for your response. I did not get this to work. The problem is that it does not change the altitude coordinates. You are, in essence, just reversing the scope on the saddle.

Can you please explain in more detail how you got this to work ?

I am a newly am mount user, I need too this feature . I see there no way to set to the app if you setup te telescope on the left or on the right of the mount. Please ZWO add this functionality.
