Hello,
Just got our S30 yesterday, and we set out to look at the planets once the sky got darker. In the regular photo mode, we don't have the problem, but when using the stacking mode , there is a blue oblong artifact that shows up, no matter which planet is being viewed. We are still new to the scope and app, so I'm sorry if I'm not using the correct terms.
I did look into the lens all the way down to the sensor, but didn't see any specks or flaws that could be the cause.
Anyone know what this could be? Do we have a defective unit?
