I have a AM5 on a fixed pillar. I did a very precise polar alignment using my ASIAIR plus, to avoid repeating this process every night. Last week I updated the ASIAIR to newest firmware.
My problem: when I start a "GOTO to target" during twilight (e.g. to the Moon) with ASIAIR from home position, the telescope stops a view degrees off from target (error: could not center target). At dark night with stars available the plate solving works good and GOTO can do the final correction to meet the target.
Question: Is there a correction methode to enabel the AM5/ASIAIR during twilight to reache objects (like moon, planets etc.) via GOTO exactly? If yes, how is the workflow?
Thank your!
