Would it be possible to write a 16 or 32 bit processed file to the My Works directory in addition to the standard JPG? For example, a TIFF, FITS, or PNG (16-32)? My ideal solution would be for there to be a toggle to write a user selected format for the processed file instead of the default jpg (or in addition to)? The reason for this is the processed jpg is useful but there are additional steps that can be applied by the user and the additional dynamic range of the higher bit number would preserve more detail. These post-seestar-jpg steps include, contrast, saturation, black point, exposure, brightness, color balance, color palettes, sharpening, etc. Thak you
Other format possible for processed Seestar image?
SeeStar does save a 16-bit FIT file. It's just not processed in any way, it is the raw file. If you plan to post-process the SeeStar images in any way you can start from these FIT files.
You can already export FITS files to your computer for further processing. While the processed JPG is convenient for quick viewing and sharing, FITS files provide the full dynamic range and are more suitable for advanced post-processing in software like PixInsight, Siril, or DeepSkyStacker.
Open Seestar app->connect to S50/S30->Select "Me" (lower righthand corner)->Advanced Feature->Save Each Frame will generate a FIT file for each exposure.......
