Asi 120 mc, no bin 2X, why?

Hi all,

I'm out to take some double star but in firecapture or in shapcarp the Bin 2X is not possible to select! (even 16 bit option)! Why?

Color camera bin2 is much harder to do (4 green pixels, 2 red, 2 blue) and not every sensor will support that.

And double stars may need more resolution than bin2.

do you enable debayer?

they should be available if you deselect debayer

it's strange, Even if debayer is disabled no bin 2x. The FPS was 32 for all roi configuration (at 1280x960 was 20) even if i decrase exposure. Than i've rebooted the PC (Asus I5 8gb ram) and it worked. At 640x480 i had 55 fps at 30 ms exposure, 50 gamma and 48 gain, is it a good result? If i decrased at 15ms i had 120 fps. After 20 minutes, same problem resolved by reboot. Why?

But 16 bit what need for? For planet i've to take AVI am i right? But the .SER what need for?

16bit is for DSO imaging most of the time
