First off, every one of these harmonic mounts is different enough that setting that work for one won't necessarily work for another. With that said, there are a couple of recommendations I can make:
Dump the crappy tiny guide scope (I had one too, they are garbage) and get an inexpensive 60mm acro guide scope. Less than $100 on Amazon. This will allow you to:
Use 0.5sec guide exposures. On most (but not all, depending on the particular AM5 and what you're using on it) of these mounts this tends to help as they really like very frequent corrections.
